As the saying goes, “food is the first necessity of people, and food safety is the top priority”. Food enterprises are the first ones responsible for food safety. To improve food safety awareness and food safety level of employees in China’s food enterprises is an important step to guarantee healthy development of the food industry in China. In order to assume the responsibility of colleges and universities, the Center holds public welfare food safety training regularly every year since 2010, and voluntarily imparts food safety knowledge to small and medium-sized food enterprises. The Center prepared and held the training course of this issue jointly with Danone Group and Ecolab Group for the first time, in which more diversified food safety knowledge was brought to more than 20 learners from all over China. Meanwhile, the training also set up a platform for exchange and communication of food enterprises, government regulatory departments and colleges & universities in terms of food safety.
