With the socio-economic development and continually occurred food security incidents, food safety has become a hot topic of social concern. Food safety is the most important issue related to the complexity of science and technology, the rule of law, and international trade. In order to help Chinese small and medium-scale practitioners, as well as the producers at all stages of the agriculture and food production chain and logistic people, making them have a better understanding of food safety knowledge and legislation, effectively and consciously to ensure food safety and quality in production, cooperated with Cargill, Coca-Cola, Buhler, Novus, SinoAnalytica, HUSI, and McDonald’s, Bor S. Luh Food Safety Research Center of Shanghai Jiao Tong University is organizing this non-profit training: General Knowledge of Food Safety Training Course. The training is now open to nationwide food manufacturers.
