On June 11st, Ms. Jenny Qu, QA Manager of Husi Food Company Ltd. visited SJTU-Bor S. Luh Food Safety Research Center, and met with Dr. Yi Sheng and Dr. Jin Yue. The details of cooperation on the Non-profit Training Program were discussed. Husi would like to contribute to the program and be one of the industrial partners.
OSI owns over 80 facilities worldwide and is the largest meat processing company in the world. Its key products include beef, chicken, pork, seafood, and non-meat products, which supplies to McDonald’s, dicos, BurgerKing and some other fast food restaurants. Husi Food is the subsidiary company of OSI industries in China. The first Husi Food Plant was built at Beijing in 1991. By now there are 9 plants in China located at Shanghai, Kunming, Chengdu, Dalian, etc..
As the best supplier to McDonald’s, Husi strictly conducts McDonald’s’ food standard, and sets up an integrated quality control system. Husi executes international HACCP and GMP to frozen meat products in all its facilities, and also strictly manage and train its own supplier. All of these make Husi’s products safe and meet the international food safety standards.
