On June 2nd, Dr. Scott Fleetwood, the Executive Director of Global Marketing and Products, Novus and Reggie Xu, Marketing Communication & Product Manager, Novus, visited Bor S. Luh Food Safety Research Center. The Center’s Director, Xiaoming Dong, met with Dr. Fleetwood and Mr. Xu. Dr. Yi Sheng and Dr. Jin Yue were present on the meeting as well.
Dr. Fleetwood introduced Novus on the meeting. Novus is a leading developer of animal health and nutrition programs for the poultry, pork, beef, dairy, aquaculture, and companion animal industries. Novus has more than 25 locations around the world and clients in over 80 countries. At the beginning of 2007, Novus China R&D Center was founded in Beijing, which was the first R&D center out of the American headquarter. After that, Novus International Trading Co., Ltd. and Novus Feed Additive Co., Ltd. were founded in Shanghai successively. Novus creates animal health and nutrition solutions based on science. Novus focuses on helping feed the world affordable, wholesome food and achieve a higher quality of life. Nouvs aims to make a clear difference in sustainably meeting the growing global needs for nutrition and health.
The Center’s Director, Xiaoming Dong said that it is promising to cooperate further with Novus in the field of agriculture science and technology. Dr. Yi Sheng introduced the Non-profit Training Program in detail. Dr. Fleetwood said Novus was always paying much attention on food safety and social welfare and would be pleased to be the industrial partner and involved in the training program.
